Jupiter Goes Global for HP

Jupiter Productions delivered an exciting and visually compelling experience for HP’s annual Partners event, “HP Global Partner Conference 2012.”   Held at the prestigious Aria Hotel in Las Vegas, Jupiter produced two high-end opening shows that celebrated the “Multiply the Opportunities“ event theme before an audience of 2,800 Channel Partners.

Due to the enormous success of previous Americas Partner Conferences, this year’s event was expanded for the first time ever to include Partners from around the world.  In preparation for this year’s show, Jupiter traveled around the globe to capture interview footage of Partners in the United Kingdom, Beijing, Hong Kong, Mexico City and New York City.  These Partners, speaking in their own words – and their own languages – played the starring role in two of the opening General Session performances.  These widescreen openers seamlessly combined interview footage with high-end motion graphics and live image magnification of WorldPlay, a live five-person band with an international flavor. The result was an over-the-top sensory experience for all attendees.

Jupiter provided all visual design and media for the venue.  In collaboration with Staging Solutions of Houston, an expansive 100’ set was also designed and built to accommodate the opening shows as well as three regional shows for AMS, APJ and EMEA.  This larger-than-life set took into account all production aspects of the show – including professional host Mark Jeffries, HP speaker presentations, demos, panel discussions – and Meg Whitman’s highlight presentation as HP’s CEO.

For the closing night, the sights and sounds of the event were also captured in a fast-paced recap video that was produced on-site by Jupiter Productions. As an engaging retrospective of the past week, the video proved to be a fitting close to the event and provided a natural transition to a live concert performance by Joss Stone.
